Auditioning For Anime with Anime Voice Director Francesca Calo

ABOUT THE CLASS

Students will read anime auditions and learn what it takes to make your auditions stand out all while gaining experience being directed for anime projects. 

Students are encouraged to participate from their home studios/use their standard mic setup if available, but it's not mandatory for this learning environment.

ABOUT YOUR INSTRUCTOR

Francesca Calo is a Chinese & Spanish Actor and Director who spent her childhood on film and television sets. She began her studies of the performing arts at the age of seven at the Academy of Dramatic Arts, and has since enthusiastically followed her passion. She studied and performed with theaters such as the Moscow Art Theatre Company, New York Stage & Film, as well as with acclaimed international director Adolf Shapiro. Her voice work spans across animation and video games, including Pokemon (Disney XD), Boy, Girl, Dog, Cat, Mouse, Cheese (Cartoon Network), Path to Nowhere, and more! Recent directing credits include: My Oni Girl (Netflix), The Lonely Castle in the Mirror (GKids), and Kingdom Anime; Season 3 (Crunchyroll).
