About the event

ABOUT THE CLASS

Being a Dungeon Master might sound like a complicated skill- and that's because it is! It requires many skills being juggled at once, and here you'll not only learn those skills, but how to become a skill-juggler. You'll be able to plan a session, run a session, and have fun all at the same time. Topics covered include the context of Dungeons & Dragons in game culture, writing, managing a group of people sitting around a table, and improvising when the plan goes up in smoke (after being struck with a level 4 fireball).

ABOUT YOUR INSTRUCTOR

Dan is the former Senior Editor of MAD Magazine, and has done standup on Comedy Central and Last Comic Standing. They've written for the game Dungeons & Dragons and also consulted on the recent D&D movie. They've been on the podcast Nerd Poker with Brian Posehn and Friends as a cast member and Dungeon Master for over 10 years, and have enjoyed the privilege of it ranking #1 on the Apple Podcast Comedy charts.
