ABOUT YOUR INSTRUCTOR
"Hello, I'm gonna speak in the first person, cause I hate pretending to talk about myself like I'm not me.
I'm Brent! A voice actor who works primarily in video games, anime, animation, and commercials! I've been voice acting full time since 2017, and have been pursuing the arts for 15 years now (Acting, Improv, Stand Up, you get the idea).
In the world of video games you might recognize me from Ratchet and Clank: Rift Apart, Genshin Impact, or the new Saints Row. In Anime, I won the Society of Voice Arts Award for Outstanding Anime Character – Best Male Voiceover for my role as Ginji in the Funimation anime Full Dive, I also voice Scratchmen Apoo in Once Piece, Minamimoto in the World Ends with You, Daz in Attack on Titan, and President Goha in Yu Gi Oh Sevens. And be sure to check out the Nickelodeon series: The Casagrandes in the season 3 premier episode, where I play the bandit Woo!
I love teaching as much as I love doing the thing, and bring over a decade of teaching experience to the table. Bottom line is, I'm here to help you, and if you're feeling stuck, or unsure, or whatever number of feelings we creative types fall into (trust me I know from experience), I will be your sherpa up this voice acting mountain!
Let me be your sherpa! Thanks for reading this far down, have a nice day!"
- Brent
