FAQS
HOW DO YOUR CLASSES WORK?
Our class structure and curriculum are determined by and may vary with each instructor. Please read the details on each event for more information.
WHEN DO I RECEIVE MY CLASS MATERIALS?
If any, class materials may be distributed 1-3 days prior to class. Some instructors may request to distribute class materials the day of or during the class. Materials and class information will be sent from The Halp Network. Please ensure that you receive emails from @halpnet.com and don't forget to check your spam boxes.
Online Class Conduct
WEB CAMS
To simulate the environment of a professional voice-over session, we encourage students to use webcams so that our directors can incorporate the actors' physicality into the direction process.
We kindly recommend not using virtual avatars unless specified in the class description, as they may limit the director's ability to observe the actor's full physicality.
Chat Feature
We encourage the use of the chat feature during class to foster positive interaction among actors, while strictly prohibiting inappropriate comments, such as those that are disrespectful, alienating, or hateful. While we strive to maintain a fun and engaging learning environment, professionalism is always a priority.
Please note that the chat feature may be disabled at the instructor's discretion for individual classes.
Class Photo
At the end of each class, the moderator will often take a group photo to celebrate everyone's efforts. The photo may be posted on The Halp Network Entertainment Academy's social media accounts. Participation is optional, and students may turn off their webcam if they'd prefer not to be included.
Please note that the instructor may choose whether or not to take a class photo.
