Beyond the Pages: Interactive Romance Audio Workshop with Dianna Conley!

ABOUT THE CLASS

Despite the widespread appeal of romance audiobooks, apps, and video games, many voice actors hesitate to venture into the realm of romance. Join this hands-on workshop to read scripts from all three genres. In this workshop, each participant will get on mic time with real romance and erotica audiobook scripts, as well as scripts for erotic audio apps. Then we will do group and partner reads for video game scripts! Dianna will give each participant individualized feedback on all their reads, and give tips for taking the next steps into booking romance and erotica work!

ABOUT YOUR INSTRUCTOR

Dianna Conley (she/they) has been a traditional voice artist for 15 years and has been narrating romance and erotica the past 8 years. She has narrated over 100 audiobooks under a pseudonym through the ACX Platform. Dianna also frequently narrates and writes for the growing field of “femtech” apps which aim to increase female sexual health and satisfaction through providing audio that is not centered on the male gaze. In addition, Dianna’s work also includes romance and erotica video games as well as traditional voiceover, having voiced over 50 indie games, including 5 major platform games.

They are confidential and are NOT to be distributed outside of this workshop (including, but not limited to, email, social media, Discord servers, etc.) nor permitted to be used as voice demo material unless otherwise stated.

RECORDING POLICY

Classes, workshops, and webinars by The Halp Network, LLC. are recorded for archival purposes. Free events may be posted to our social media channels at a later date. Students of a paid course may receive access to the recording of their class for the student's own use ONLY.
